ive been waiting for this product from shuttle for a long time. but i want it to be as quiet as can be. but im a gamer, and i need a fast card in it. im probably going to go with a 7800gt. i looked at some air cooling options, but everything i found was too large to fit between the video card and the side of the case. this is when i started thinking that mabey i could find a waterblock to fit. ive done watercooling before, but generally i prefer to air cool if i can. i found a waterblock for the video card that will fit, and then i was thinking of where to put the radiator, and i'd prefer to put it right where the I.C.E. cooler is at the back of the case. and to get rid of it i'd have to watercool the CPU. now the CPU (MikeC from silentpcreview says) has a non-standard hole drillout around it. but i found a waterblock originally intended for video cards and motherboard chipsets with an adjustible holdown that they say will fit any hole orientation. and since the heat output is going to be so low from the cpu, then a waterblock made for something other than a cpu shouldnt really be that big of a deal.

ive pretty much made up my mind on the pump i want to use. and i like the res ive found, but id like to know if anyone else knows of somthing small like it so i can compare and decide for myself. i'm also pretty much set on the waterblocks, mainly because i havnt found anything else that i could see would actually fit my specific space and orientation requirements. if their is any problem you can see with the blocks and where they will be used, please let me know. or if you know of other blocks you think would work that would be great too. the biggest thing i wanted input on is a radiator. all i found were either 120mm versions or 80mm versions. i cant fit the larger one, but the stock fan is 92mm. now i know i can probably just use the smaller one and be fine, but if anyone knows of a 92mm radiator id prefer to use that.

sorry that was so long. heres the list of things ive found. please feel free to comment on any of them.

CPU Waterblock
GPU Waterblock
Pump
Radiator
Reservoir

Shuttles can fit alot more than you think if you're limiting yourself to koolance waterblocks only, search for other watercooled shuttles. May also want to use a fillport instead of a res to save space.

i really like that dangerden gpu waterblock, but im not gunna spend over 100 bucks for a single waterblock. the only other waterblock i saw that would fit besides the koolance one was from innovatek, but it used aluminum and copper both together in the same block. and i just dont want to take that kinda risk with corrosion. do you know of any other waterblocks (preferably with 3/8" OD fittings) that would fit between the card and the side of the case?

i guess i shoulda explained a bit more about the outcome im expecting. i want it to look stock. no windows, no lights, and most importantly.. no noise whatsoever. i know thats not the norm on this forum, but its how i want it.

im probably going to run 3/8" ID tubing. if im using the koolance blocks i may be using 1/4" ID tubing in some places.

i have a few concerns that i noticed on my last watercooling rig. the bubbles in the system makes noise sometimes and i found it really hard to bleed them all out. and i heard using a resevoir helps with this, any recommendations in this area to completely bleed out all air bubbles so they dont make noise as they run through the system?

the only other noise i heard on my last system was the pump, im hoping that if i encase it in foam and suspend it from the chassis that it will be dead silent, especially considering how small it is.

the only reason im watercooling is because i cant find a suitible air solution for the video card that wont make alot of noise. if i could i would go air instead.
