I am interested in getting this, but the fan speed and other details don't seem that fantastic. My case specs are in my sig--the case has almost literally no air flow in the front of it so I want to bump up the overall airflow. I currently have a Thermaltake 120mm fan that I custom-mounted on the front of the case between the 2nd and 3rd drive bays (it's a 4-bay case, top slot = DVD-RW), but it isn't the ideal solution.

With the slats that came with the PC there my computer will idle around 61-63C... not an acceptable temperature for me and my overclock. I pulled those slats out two nights ago and it dropped from low-60's to low-50's, and that's with the 120mm fan. Ideally I also need to find a way to get air through the bottom area, where the hard drive is, but that's a future topic. :)

So my question: is anyone else using this? Or anyone able to suggest an alternative that is decent? Adrenaline suggested http://www.frozencpu.com/products/2810/hdc-23/525_Cross_Flow_Fan.html?tl=g34c147&id=ozeLEISJ#blank , but it appears to be an exhaust, not an intake.... I have PLENTY of exhaust at the back of the PC (the Scythe Ninja's fan is mounted to blow through the heat pipes/fins to the 120mm in back.) Anyone with experience in this one as well, or able to provide a comparison?

Thanks ahead of time!

I used 2 of the scythe kama bay fans in a server, they were really nice.

The fan CAN be swapped on them though, so...

50c idle is still really hot, what are your loads like?

50-52c = 100% full load, folding full-time.

Sorry, I should've specified that. Otherwise my sig describes my setup and it runs around 40c with no load.
