are there any mounting issues for Scythe Ninja on the DFI Ultra D or Epox EP-9NPA+Ultra? Thanks.

just backplate covers some solder points, some use it others dont and if you dont, get some different screws.

I don't want to start a new thread for my question but it seems as if this thread kind of applies. I'm buying an Antec P180 case. Will the Ninja fit in my case? The case is 8in wide and the Ninja is about 6in tall. That gives me 2in of room. I just don't know how much room the mobo/mobo tray will take up. If anyone knows if this works, please let me know. Thanks in advance.

They coupled that case with the ninja in this review without issue: http://www.silentpcreview.com/article251-page5.html

Should be okay..

just for piece of mind, i've got mine running in my p180 just fine. they were made for eachother with the way the exhaust fans are setup.

I am using it on the 9NPA+Ultra without any issues. I used the Epox backplate

I don't know if the zalman backplate will work with the ninja, but I can say that it is a little bit lighter than the xp90c. Don't worry about it being "safe" because of the weight either, as all of the copper is in the base of the ninja and therefore none of the weight will be "hanging" off the ninja when your case is upright.

The ninja is actually pretty light. You'll have to see for yourself whether the zalman plate will work...

you should be fine, like others hav said, the ninja is light, only 660ish grams, im using a hyper 6+ on my epox 9npa+ ultra and it weights about 800 grams ;)
