I'm down to deciding which scsi raid card to use for my server. I plan to buy 2 fujitsu u320 73 gig scsi drives and run them in raid 1 configuratino. Later I plan to upgrade that to a 0+1 array but thats in the future.
Currently I see the lsi 64bit pci-x ultra320 LSI20320RKIT listed at newegg for $115 which seems cheap. Also it says 'single drive' raid 0 and raid 1 support which doesn't make any sense. Does it mean single channel with multiple chained drives? ie, I could use 2 chained drives on the single channel in a raid 1 configuration?
I also see a bunch of adaptec cards.
my question is which of these cards should suit my needs for raid 1 and 0+1 support with u320 and pci-x 64? are there other cards that I haven't mentioned that might be more appropriate?
