Are there any SCSI PCI-E cards out yet? I've looked everywhere and can't find any... :confused:

There are several SCSI RAID PCI-E controllers available, but I'm not aware of any non-RAID SCSI controllers in PCI-E at this time.
 
Wtf. I have been having SERIOUS problems with overhyphenation lately. Check my posts if you don't believe me....I am really effed up in the head or something.
Thats kinda embarassing, too, because if I could work for any company it would be LSI or IBM.

Heh, well, not to stray too far off topic, but kind of funny you mentioned those two companies since those are exactly the two technology companies I have worked/do work for... :p

Enterprise tech at that.
Probably won't be mainstream "cheap" for 3 years.
 
And no real benefit over the PCI-X version of the same controller. The SCSI controller is actually PCI-X but that chip with the big silver heatsink is an IO processor and PCI-E to PCI-X bridge.
