1) Will an Ultra 320 drive work on an Ultra160 controller? Also will 160 drives work on a 320 controller?

2) Is it possible to build a raid 1 off of a disk that has existing data? I would be using a hardware raid card if that makes any difference.

1) Yes and Yes. I do it all the time.

2) This depends on the previous state of the drive. If the drive was already part of a mirror, just boot off of the one disk, and rebuild it when you get into windows. If it was a standalone disk, it will most likely erase the data when you create your mirror and logical drive.
