SCSI Adapter Query

Hi all,

Quick question: Could I use an adapter to change a SCSI-1 internal wide device to LVD? I have seen adapters for this, but I am unsure if they are to use LVD SCSI devices with SCSI-1 or the other way around.

For reference: I don't have any liking for SCSI.
