Finally going to take the plunge with an SSD.
I've read that the 840EVO does not come with screws.
I've also read that the screws that come with the Corsair 800D are too long.
(going to mount it in one of the hot swap bays.)
What size mounting screws would work, and where can they be found?

Thanks!

They are the same thread pattern as any other normal optical drive screw. I believe it is M3.

5.25" drives and 3.5" drives use different screws. I believe they use M4, while SSDs and other 2.5" drives use M3.

I would expect to be able to get these at Home Depot or Lowes if you do not want to wait for the 100 pack.

I guess I'm the only one who clicked on this thread thinking it was going to be all about somebody that wanted an 840 EVO so bad they were willing to screw for it... I'm kinda disappointed. :(

The 840 EVO isn't nearly a nice enough drive for me to do that.
