Allright.

My specs first:
Intel Badaxe 2
Q6600
4gb PC6400 Ballistix
7800gs
Highpoint RocketRaid 2320
5 x 300gb Sata Maxtor's in R5
2 x 150gb Raptors in R0
OS on 74gb Raptor

OS drive is on Intel Port
2 Optical drives on Intel Port

Hotswap and R0 raptors on Marvell Port

Maxtor's on Highpoint

Allright, I recently migrated from Vista x32 to Vista x64. At some point while I was installing programs I needed to do a reboot. I rebooted the machine and went to do something.

I can back to see chkdsk thrashing the shit out of R5 array. It must have loaded on the reboot. It had been going at it a bit. I thought really hard about turning the computer off, but I let it finish.

I boot into windows and find that a GOOD CHUNK of my data on that drive is corrupted. It seems like it's data that has been accessed/created in the last few months. I haven't looked over the whole tb yet, but it's buggered pretty good.

It looks like most of the files are there. They just give all manner of error messages when I try to open them. Zip files say they're corrupted, video files stutter and stop, word file's say they're corrupted, and so on.

I have SOME backups of various things, but I'd like to fix this to any degree possible.

1. What would be your prognosis? Windows hosed the file table?

2. Any suggestions.

Any thought would be great. Thanks guys!
