screensaver while priming?

i was priming last night for my 2580 overclock, i woke up this morning to a comp frozen at the screensaver... should i have the screensaver on while priming or is the oc just not fully stable?

so, bad or indifferent to have the screensaver on while running prime torture tests?

If your computer froze at a screensaver while running Prime95, you're not stable at that overclock. Don't scapegoat the screensaver. It's a part of normal computer usage(or lack of) and if it crashes, regardless if its result of prime95 or not, your computer is not stable.

word, thanks... i just wanted to know if it was some shit that just happened... anyway, i wasnt stable there, it ran 4 hours before failing prime at 10mhz less, now its chugging away another 10 less
