screen went blue!

I've had the Dell U2311H for a week now. No issues till two nights ago, when the screen went blue - not banding, but a uniform greenish-blue cast across the entire screen. Dis- and reconnecting the input didn't help, had to reboot the computer (whereupon it was fine).

is this likely to be a video card issue, or should I consider returning the monitor?
