Hey

I got problem when running computer screen and tv as a second screen (in differend room)
Im using long supra high speed hdmi cable from computer to tv. I get the picture working but how do i get sound working via tv's speakers? Atm sound is coming from computer speakers, which is in dif room... kinda annoying :D
Tv is lg lh5000. Ermmm and gfxcard invidia 260 serie. I cant remember other specs atm. If someone knows a solution for this it would b great.

Thanks

Dims

May not work with that graphics card, if you have windows 7 go to your start menu, type in Sound, and click on the "Sound" that pops up in the list.

In the playback tab, see if any of the available options are your TV.

Hmm oki, thanks. From which model on nvidias card support such thing?

Thats a good question, i couldn't find that info easily.

From what i remember during my research, it started being supported in the 9800 / 260 era but only on some brands.

It works on my GTX 470.

nice thanks!

problem solved. Bought zotac gtx 580 amp! and audio works now :p

Some older nVidia cards required a SPDIF cable from the motherboard onto the video card for HDMI audio.
