Screen turn green with DVI

Hi, I just recieved my video card from a member here. And my problem is that whenever I use DVI the screen would turn green and static. If I use the VGA plug, the graphic is perfectly fine. So I was wondering if any of you guys know what's going on? Thank you

Well system specs are nice, but you left out the source of the problem...
 
I had an ATI 9000 and just recieved my 9500NP with a bad ass HS on it. After installing it on, turn on the computer, the whole screen turns green. So I thought it was the driver so I uninstalled it and use DC3 to clean it out also. Download the lastest catalyst driver, install it and it still green. Only the VGA works perfect.
 
Hmm, have you tried using another monitor with the card? Or maybe a new DVI cable?
 
Ive seen this problem before, its a hardware problem. IE- Faulty card.

No, I haven't tried it with another cable but I have tried it with another card and it works fin. Maybe something is wrong with this card?

As the previous poster believes its a card defect, then maybe thats why the person whoever sold you the card was selling it. You may want to contact them. But if you have access to another PC, pop it in there and try it and see what happens.

Yeah, I have tried that and it didn't change. I have contacted the seller but he hasn't replied..

Whos the seller if you dont mind me asking? Maybe he has a rep for selling bad cards.
 
I aplogize, but I found a bent pin in my DVI cable. Thank you

Edit: Anyone know any software to do bench mark on these? For example, video card, ram, ect...
