Hey guys, just got a U3415w ultrawide, and I'm trying to figure out how to "divide" the screen in half so windows snap to either side of the desktop and not across the whole thing...

can anyone point me in a direction?

//edit - I just figured it out, helps if you rtfm....anyhow, dell display manager comes on the cd with the monitor, works perfect on win10x64

Windows has been able to do this since Vista I think. Just drag the window to the left or right side of the screen and it will expand/contract to take up the right or left side

You can use the keyboard shortcut in Windows also.

WinKey + Left Arrow snaps to half the left side
WinKey + Right Arrow snaps to half the right side
WinKey + Up Arrow goes full screen
WinKey + Down goes to windowed mode when in full screen or if it's snapped to either side
WinKey + Down when in windows mode minimizes to task bar (essentially double tapping the down arrow when in full screen will minimize the active window)
