I have:
Win 7 64bit
HD6950 1GB with 11.10 Preview 3
VG236HE @ 120Hz.

During Battlefield 3 the screen would randomly shift like the image below. The screen remained shifted even after I quit to desktop. The only way to fix it is to reconnect the DVI cable. This only happens in BF3 since I can browse the web all day and never run into this problem. I tried 11.9, 11.10 Preview 1-3 and I've been having this problem since BF3 Beta. I don't think this is my monitor because restarting the monitor doesn't solve the problem, only reconnecting the DVI cable. You guys think it might be the dual link cable or that it's not playing nice with 120hz mode?

I've had that problem with my HD6950 2GB - for me it was video RAM. If I overclocked it too much it would shift like that. It did *NOT* reset properly if I unplugged and plugged the DVI cable back in, so it may be something different for you. On my XFX card it would do that even when I did not overclock, so I ended up RMAing it.
