Hey all
Not sure what's causing this, but recently my computer screen has started flickering. It usually only happens after it's been on for a while, and restarting the monitor seems to fix it (sometimes). However, I've only ever seen it do this while in 2d mode (i.e. surfing the web, working on homework, etc.). I fired up L4D while this was happening a few minutes ago and the flickering stopped. It came back after I quit L4D.
Sooo is this a monitor issue or a driver issue?
I took a video of it happening:

I just made this video about 5 minutes ago, and it's been fine since I restarted the monitor for the video. I'm totally lost.
Notes:
* I have a geforce 260gtx, 192 core
* Temps on it are alright (gpu-z says 48*C)
* Temps on processor are fine
* Drivers are latest from nvidia, and this happened with old drivers as well (began happening spontaneously, not after some kind of change)
* Monitor is a soyo topaz-s, the always-on-sale one
