Screen flickering in crossfire

Just added another 7970 (asus and msi) to my system (so now i have 2) and when i go to play games, the screen flickers and jumps all over the place. Running cat 13.2 beta 4.

vsync on or off does the same thing. specs in sig. power is not the issue and both cards work great by themselves

I'm not even sure crossfire is working. It wont show gpu2 temp either

are either of them overclocked?

bone stock. Should both cards be used evenly or the 2nd only when needed?

from my experience with crossfire,they will generally run about the same percentage when a game utilizes crossfire well.

Have you downloaded and installed the latest CAP for them,not the actual drivers but the catalyst application profiles,they usually contain updated crossfire profiles and hopefully fix bugs as well.

but,back to you issue,my biggest headache with crossfire was ULPS,every driver upgrade reset this and it cause massive system instability for me.with crossfire this need to be disabled,some will say only if you overclock,but I found even at stock having it disabled was a much better experience.

If I was trouble shooting I would start there,if that doesn't work try and reinstall the drivers and caps from scratch.

Well so far disabling ULPS has fixed my problems Thank you!

Now one of my gpu fans is not ramping up like the other one is doing
