Hi, i have an ati 4870 and have the video card hooked up to my monitor and a hdmi to my audio receiver and then the receiver to the TV via hdmi.

Is there a way i can keep clone or extended mode off on the card until i tell it to do dual mode?

Cuz now each time i turn on or off my receiver to watch tv or to use pc or play video games, my monitor screen and TV flickers a few time until the card can get signal from the hdmi on the receiver.

Sometime this causes the BSOD or sometimes my computer just freezes. So if u know how to keep the dual mode off all the time until i turn it on for the ati card, please let me know.
