I really would like to have the viewsonic v201b, but am aprehensive because of the screen door effect. Has viewsonic done anything since the "mini-review" to change or help the screen door effect. And is the ghosting on the 201 terrible. Becuase if its bad i'll get the 191b, but really want the resolution on the 201.
 
afaik, there haven't been any changes to the VP201. The screendoor effect, which some people can see on this monitor, and some people cant, is related to the panel iteself. The panel is made by LG.Philips (an S-IPS panel) and i'm pretty sure there has been no change to it since the original release of the VP201 and the Dell 2001FP which also uses it.

A lot of people find these models ok for gaming, but they aren't as fast as the VP191B 8ms version. It really depends on how much of a gamer you are i think, but the extra res on the 20" models is a nice thing to have! :)
