Dunno why but I have had two monitors do this (both the same exact kind). They are fairly old CRTs. Dell Trinitron UltraScan 1000 HS.

My screen constantly jitters up and down really fast and doesn't stop, it's driving bonkers, any ideas? Is it my vid card (nVidia GeForce 6800GT with latest nvidia drivers from their site)
 
Have you checked the refresh rates? Perhaps they are set to 60hz, if your monitors are capable set them higher.
 
Try moving the screens to a different room . THere may be something nearby that's causing this (i've seen it happen)
