• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

This thread started in the power supply forum because I thought I had a bad power supply (which I probably did) But I have yet to kick it, so i'm looking for more opinions

when I start my computer when it reaches the windows xp start screen this is what I see:
999bfc5dac.jpg

it will look like that then windows will boot normally.
however sometimes windows will not boot normally and the entire "windows" screen will look like that.

I replaced the power supply hoping it would fix it, it didn't.
I have also replaced the Graphics card, and my RAM.
all that remains from the original system is the Motherboard and Hard drives.

system is as follows:
Mobo: GIGABYTE GA-EP35-DS3L
CPU: Intel Q6600
RAM: 2GB OCZ Platinum DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500)
Graphics Card: ASUS EN9600GT GeForce 9600 GT 512MB
Power Supply: OLD:APEVIA ATX-CW500WP4 500W ATX
NEW: Corsair 550tx
Hard drives: 2 7200RPM sata drives
Other: DVD R/W, 7 in 1 card reader, 2 120mm fans, Hyper TX2 CPU cooler
