What is this about a German division. Does this mean that SCO is stepping down for good or what...?
 
No it just means that in Germany they cannot continue with all of the FUD that they are spewing over here in the US. Basically Germany said "STFU SCO, prove it in court before you open your damn mouth and/or threaten people". I for one wish we would do the same thing in the US.

On a side note, does anyone know if SCO will have to refund money to any idoits who were compelled to buy an agreement from them if they lose thier case?
 
I think this will hurt SCO's case badly. If one of their divisions says they aren't going to pursue litigation, it has to make you wonder what, if anything, SCO has for proof. If it was actually a strong case with actual proof, you wouldn't have one of your divisions bailing on you.

And no, the agreements that have been made will still be in effect. The non-SCO partner in the agreement may try to get out of the agreement and may actually have a chance.
