Scheme/Lisp resources?

I'm currently in a language paradigms class that is based on scheme and it's killing me. The professor is basically worthless, but these things happen. The book (http://mitpress.mit.edu/sicp/) is tough to learn from because they like to "assume" that alot of functions exist as a basis for discussing things more theoretically...without ever defining the assumed functions so that it is difficult to apply the theory.

My question is, does anyone know of a good reference for scheme that has more practical examples? All I have really found so far are a couple of e-books that are semi-complete.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

I've always heard good things about "the little schemer".

It's a great book in terms of theory, but when it comes time to implement alot of the examples you will find yourself struggling to fill in alot of blanks that have been left.

When I took a class that used Scheme, that was also the 'book' we had to use.

I don't know of any other real Scheme resource though.

I believe Rice.edu has a lot of scheme resources. My professor came from there and she linked us somewhere to Rice's CS department.
