Has anyone gotten a chance to see this lcd is action? Its only $289.00 and it has better specs than the viewsonic vp930b which is like $200 more. Its got 8 ms response time. 700:1 contrast and 300 cd/m2 brighteness and its an 8 bit panel. The viewsonic looks nicer but for $289.00 that's a nice price. I just haven't heard anything on sceptre lcd's, how are they etc...

Whats interesting, is that Sceptre as not a well-known company that manufactures LCDs, yet all current models by Sceptre all defiantely quality LCDs. I currently have the 37" Sceptre naga and have a friend with the 20.1" panel, both of which are superior to most other LCDs and identical to Dell's 2005fpw or 2405fpw monitors. No ghosting is apparent, good color reproduction, and good PQ.

How they manage to surpass most other companies selling monitors in specs, yet charge a lot less, is beyond me.

Does your friend have the 20.1" naga iii, the one that everyone has been talking about stuttering on? If so, do you notice the 'stuttering' or 'tearing' people have been talking about?
