ok so im actually shopping for an LCD for the first time, i have built many a PC, but i have always used monitors that were given to me, or i didnt care what LCD i bought.
my price range including shipping to Alaska, is 320$. that limits things alot.
i would really like a 19" LCD with the low set base due to my desk being so high, so the sceptre x9g-komodo VII looks to be the winner. 500:1 contrast, 400cd/m2 brightenss, and 12ms. sounds good.
anything i need to be aware of with this monitor? other than the warrantee i like it. mainly because there is no other option in the 19" range i am aware of.
opinions? warnings? what about Sceptres quality- i know they have been arround for a while.
