I just recently purchased a Sceptre X20WB Naga from Newegg, and I can't seem to get it to work with vga. (I will be trying dvi tomorrow since I don't have dvi on my laptop) I've tried installing the drivers from the cd and downloading them from the sceptre site. I've also just tried the generic windows plug and play driver. None of them work. I've not had any problems with a second monitor before, but this is my first lcd. I don't know if that's got something to do with it or what...

I have a Radeon 9600 Pro, and it's run everything else great up till now...

Any help would be much appreciated!! Thanks in advance!!

is there any options/buttons for the monitor to read from vga or dvi?

I got this monitor about a month ago as a gift. Did some research before I opened the box. First. I am very happy with this monitor. I went straight to dvi and skipped vga but I do recall reading somewhere some problems with ATI. Check your refresh rate, make sure it is set to 60. Also once you have it working get ready to spend a good 20 mins playing with the settings. It is very bright out of the box but some playing around and I have it where the colors and screen look great.

thanks for your help guys. i was hoping it'd be a simple mistake on my part in getting the lcd to work, but after talking with tech support at sceptre for about an hour they finally told me just to send it to them and they'll send me a new one.

so, i'll just hope for the best on the next one.

thanks again!

this thing is seriously bright out of the box!... i haven't been playing very many games recently, and turned down the brightness to 0, and it's still so much brighter than my lcd on my laptop. it's amazing...
