Sceptre Problem!!!!!

i recnetly got the sceptre 22 inch wide... and i am going to be using it on my new computer but i didnt build it yet.. but i did hook it up to my other pc and for some reason when i tried to use the DVI cable on the geforce 6600gt is would turn all green and blurry in native resolutions................as i could still see i changed it back but then when i turn on the pc also it would do that also...........i dont know if its my video card or if i didnt put it in hard enough...........Has anyone else had this problem?
