I'm planning my htpc and was looking into scan converters since svideo output from my card (gforece 4 ti4200) looks like crap. I've checked out a few reviews and ratings. It seems that all the scan converters out on the market are average or just suck. Is there any other solution? I plan to upgrade to an ATI AIW (9600 pro or 9800) Does the output from them look any better on a TV? Or should I go the other way and output tv on a pc monitor? Thanks!
