Ive been looking for a single board computer for awhile. Ive found dual Celeron 600Mhz boards with built in 2Mb Video, USB and 10/100 Ethernet. They look small, Maybe 12x5x1".

http://i4.ebayimg.com/01/i/03/49/77/c4_1.JPG Is the one im talking about. Is there anything stopping me from buying that board, Shoving a molex PSU connector into the plugs, hooking up a monitor and loading on windows with nothing else? That one looks like it plugs into a board. I dont know if that gives access to PCI/ISA slots or if can run by itself.

With some 1/4" oak, a jigsaw, some nails and a can of paint, I think I could put together one hell of a SFF system, more like an "Emachine" alternative.

Should be possible, I did the same thing myself with a smaller SBC than that. My setup fits into two 5.25" bays, worklog here.

The PCI and ISA looking parts are for using the board in a backplane which would give access to additional PCI and ISA slots. My SBC works fine without the backplane, but some SBCs need the backplane for power.
