SB600 and 2 7200RPM HDD in Raid 0

So after my horrible attempt to RAID0 2 SAS drive, I started to research about some RAID 0 with regular SATA drives. My biggest concern is the on board SB600 raid controller on my MSI K9A2 Platinum motherboard.I had a horrible experience with the Promise T3 being very limited. I'm thinking about getting 2 WD 640GB and run them at RAID 0 with a short stroke of about 150GB. Anyone familiar with the SB600 on board raid controller?
