SB X-fi xtreme audio

I just bought this card and i have been looking at forums and people keep saying the x-fi so i assume its the same thing. But everybody mentions that there is different kinds of modes. Mine just normaly has entertainment mode and i dont think i can change that. Is this card really any good cause it seems kind of cheap and doesnt seem to do much for games/ music. When i do put it into xpand mode it does seem to do something for music but not much and it doesnt do anything for games. Should i return this card and maybe spend the extra money for the xtreme gamer?
 
Yes, return it. I did. It doesn't even come with the X-Fi processor. It uses your CPU to do all the sound work. I would return it for the gamer, that's what I did. I made a thread about how much processor usage this card utilizes when running sound and it was pathetic.

Get the gamer. Don't let the name fool you, it's just their marketing. I have the gamer now and it works great for me. I had the audio in the beginning and I returned that shit.
