SB Refund option : MB and CPU?

Refunds are available for flawed SB motherboards, how about the CPU?

It's of no use without a mb...
 
Mindfactory, a big retailer here in germany, refused to refund any sandy bridge cpus because they are not broken, just the affected motherboards can be returned. The only chance to return a cpu here is if you do it within 14 days after purchase which is then covered by normal conversion rights law.

The Egg will refund both up to 90 days or when replacements are available, whichever comes first.

They didn't give me any problems opening an RMA.

I haven't sent anything back yet, because the RMA is open for 30 days. I'll probably be getting rid of my P8 Pro as I have pre-ordered the M4E.
