Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Does anyone know about some SB Live 5.1 and Windows XP trouble? I recently got a Genius Deluxe 3600W 5.1 speaker. When I install Creative's driver, the subwoofer simply stops working! Windows driver = no prob. I've picked up their lastest driver. Help?
Have you attempted to screw around with the speaker calibration? It may be that the creative drivers set everything to a 2.0 system when they installed. It could also be a few other settings in there. I'd go looking around in there and see if it was muted or something.
thats how mine looks.. if you have digital input on it will turn off all speakers i think.. thats what it does to mine.. maybe put your sub up to 50%
mine seems to work fine.. i have the Sound Blaster Live! 5.1 card on Logitech Z-5300 and the drivers work fine for me.. maybe the way you plugged your speakers/sub into your sound card..maybe turn that subwoofer level to full?
Hey guys! Thanks for help! Rabbit, my subwoofer works when I check "Bass redirection" and raise the "Crossover frequency" bar all the way up. And yes, I play 5.1 DVD's too.
