Let me put on my flame retardant suit first. This sound card is aged, I know, I'm looking for new ideas. My question is is it possible there will ever be Vista 64 drivers for this card in the next century? I used this on XP and it worked fine but is NOT supported on Vista 64. The garbage Creative site doesn't have any and every 3rd party site not only don't list this card in their supported list, but also say DO NOT install other drivers with this card, so it seems I have no substitution drivers to use for this card. Keep in mind this is an SE, not to be confused with ES or LS, which are supported by Vista 64.
The reason is my headphones sound like dung because I don't have a mixer, equilizer, etc to adjust things. I'm using Gigabyte onboard sound which will do for now, but do not contain these options either. Headphones are Razer Barracuda. I use them for music and gaming but gaming sound quality is more important.
So my next question is, can anyone recommend some other driver to use in replace of these default onboard drivers that contain the features I mentioned?
