does anyone know if the audigy has pin outs for front panel audio? I bought my card oem, so i don't have the manual. i downloaded the pdf from creative and contacted tech support but neither could give me a decent answer.

thanks

oh, if it does have pin outs for front panel audio, plz post a diagram or something

Creative providing poor support? Gee that's a first.

My old Audigy had the pins for it. The connectors should be in the manual.

You are right.... the board pinouts for the Audigy were included in the manual.... actually the help file. ;)

thank for the post, but like i said i dont have the manual for the card so that wont help. the link u gave is a spdif diagram, i was looking for the audio and mic out pinouts. thanks for the help

the link u gave is a spdif diagram, i was looking for the audio and mic out pinouts.
Did anyone ever mention to you that there some things that you don't need to repeat? ;)
I know you don't have the manual ... you said that already.
I know that you are looking for the audio out and mic pinouts...... you said that already as well.
I also know what the pinouts on the site I linked are.
They are the pinouts for the Aud_Ext header and the SPDIF_EXT headers on the Audigy/Live cards.
Now, do me a favor....
Look at your card and tell me if you see any other headers on it. ;)

the reason i brought up not having the manual is because superjohnny and urself are telling me that the diagrams i needed are in manual, i was reaffirming that i dont have them, so telling me that is a waste of time. also, if u knew i needed the audio pin outs, why then r u posting a link for the spdif pinouts? if u have something helpful to post then post, but do so after u get off ur period.

Why don't you read the document he linked to before snapping back, he had a valid response to what you said. It includes TWO DIFFERENT DIAGRAMS OF PINOUTS, not just spdif.

if u knew i needed the audio pin outs, why then r u posting a link for the spdif pinouts?
Umm, because the pinouts provided on that site contain the exact same information as the manual does. ;)
Please answer the question I put to you.....What other headers are there on the board?
if u have something helpful to post then post, but do so after u get off ur period.
As soon as you demonstrate the ability to comprehend the information that has been provided you may realize just how absurd that last remark is.
All you had to do was look at the card to realize all of the information you needed was provided on the site I linked.
Let me explain it in words you can understand.----------------> There are no analog connectors on the OEM Audigy cards. If you are trying to interface the card with lets say some front panel connectors that your case has ... you can only do that by configuring them so they plug into the connectors on the back of the card.
