Hey guys, is there a way to save my monitor settings? I have this one computer that has two monitors and everytime I reboot it, it turns off the 2nd monitor. This computer also uses UltraMon and Vista 64 bit.

Is there any other hardware such as a KVM involved?

Step one for debugging is to disable/uninstall Ultramon and see if the problem still repros. If it doesn't, then it's an Ultramon problem.

Not necessarily, it could be a bad IHV "value-add" program, also (or instead).

Win7 we put a lot of effort into monitor management. If you have the opportunity to upgrade, I'd take it. If not, start with either a driver upgrade of Arainach's suggestion.

Still the same thing without UltraMon. This doesn't happen on my other VIsta machine and that one has three monitors.

Can you capture a dxdiag (run dxdiag and "save all information" as a text file)?

How do you have the monitors connected? Are you using a KVM?
