SATA3 Cables

Is there a speed diffrence between an SATA2 and SATA3 cable? Google search comes back woth conflicting reports and no solid answers because drives haven't been fast enought until now.

So, would using a SATA2 cable cause a Vertex 3 SSD hooked to an SATA3 MB to have slower speeds or jitter issues? Or are SATA2 and 3 cables the same and it's just marketing hype?

My c300 benches fine on sata 3 with an older sata2 cable.

copper wires, jacketed with vinyl or wax, bound by a aluminum shield, then jacketed again in vinyl... it's like ethernet cable: so long as the pinout is right, the shielding is sufficient, it should work. (Ethernet also has the twists-per-inch, but SATA doesn't do that).
