I just got a good deal on a 120GB seagate SATA hard drive, and i'm looking to make it an external for backup and transferring files. so now i need an enclosure, but the problem is my laptop (that our school gave us) is pretty crappy and doesn't have firewire or a SATA hookup, only USB. so basically i need an enclosure with internal SATA interface and external USB interface. can anyone recommend me one that is preferably under $50?

It doesn't seem to have a fan, but as you say, I don't think it'll need one. The aluminum should dissipate enough heat to keep the drive working fine well into its old age.
