Am I able to transfer it to another chipset like Promise, NVraid or Via raid (built-in into SB) without much hassle?

It's just that I do not have access to another P4 board and I really really want to stay away from Intel for the time being. :)

Thanks

Transfering a Raid 0 setup one from shipset to another is a very iffy to say the least. All your Raid config info was stored on your mother board. When you try to rebuild on another chipset most likely it will not rebuild and see the old setup. That is one reason a lot of people use PCI based cards for a Raid setup. You have a better chance of recovering when changing out motherboards.
