SATA RAID controller recommendations

I'm looking for a midrange SATA RAID controller. It needs to support at least 4 drives, and must be compatible with a standard PCI slot. The Adaptec and 3ware controllers I have been looking at both require 64 bit PCI. It should be true hardware RAID. Does such a device exist?

I am interested in what you found. I am looking for the same thing.

tweakers.net StorageMark 2003 is based on IPEAK SPT
same as SR's Testbed 3

To be honest if you want a really good Serial ATA controller but don't want or have 64-bit PCI i would seriously consider the new VIA KT800 Southbridge intergrated raid .. its got a 533mb/s pipe ..and really nice ..another choice would be the Intel's P4 intergrated Serial ata via southbridge its only 266/mbs a sec ..either way the really best way to go i think is a 64-bit PCI slot and that 3ware raid card ..its got increible speeds and drive combos :)

They will work just fine in a 32-bit PCI slot, so no worries there dude. It's ok if the connector just chills there, with no slot to be in.
