Sata raid card recommendation for server 2003

I need to install a new SATA raid controller on my server at work. The server is running Win2003 and I want a 4 port raid controller that can provide audio and email notification for me using a 64bit pci (not pci express) slot. The only good one I found is this one:

It’s the Megaraid SATA 150-4 from LSILogic. Have any of you used this card in the past, or anyone know of anything better that would meet my needs?

How important is speed to you? That's essentially a last-generation card, so it'll be slower in raid 5 writes. If you're using any combination of 0 and 1, it'll be fine, though.

The 2320 is the older, pci-express brother of the 1810. The 1820 is only $29 more, though, so if you might be expanding it in the future it's a good idea to get it now. If you need hardware raid, the Areca family will serve you well.

Despite 3ware's popularity, I would not recommend their latest generation of adapters. They're not quite as expensive as Areca cards, but they lack a lot of features and the speed just isn't there. Stay away from them, IMO.
