I have 2 SATA drive in Raid 0 for performance.
I have an older IDE drive that i want to have hooked up as well for backups and mainly because it has all my files on it still.

SATA drives have Win XP on it and run great.
However, when i hook up the IDE drive it tells me replace system disk and press a key and wont' boot into windows..
I'm assuming one can use SATA and a IDE hard drive at the same time, right?
If so then i'd guess it's just some little thing to make it work right.
Probably a bios setting or something with the IDE ports on the mobo....i dunno but can't find any solutions on the net.

Any help would be appreciated
Thanks

I use both but when you do this the bios sometimes puts the ide first to boot so go into bios and put the satas in proper boot order.
