I was wondering...there are 4 SATA ports on my motherboard. And it seems i can only connect 1 drive per channel...which seems kinda lame.

What would i need to connect more than 1 for each channel? (besides RAID?)

And is what i have said above true?

SATA supports 1 device per port, so your limited to 4 devices unless you add an additional PCI card.

same as above comment, and raid will still not allow you to connect more than one per channel.

You may want to research how things work before whipping terms out. RAID will have nothing to do with how many drives you can attach to a controller, the raid controller can have more ports to handle more drives, but sata, as of right now, is one drive, one channel.
