Hey guys just got a little issue with my new SATA. First of all the plan is to use it as a boot drive. I'm runnin a neo k8 mobo by the way... Anyhow.. I actually had to configure raid array and everything to get this little guy workin right, it wouldn't let me install windows on it any other way. I'm not runnin a raid array though thats the thing.. i have one sata and one ide drive but they aren't raided. but for some reason from messing with settings and everything since I enabled raid in my bios i was able to install windows without a problem.... now in my bios where i pick HD boot priority I have 3 drives, i only have 2 physical drives... one is the raid array which is the SATA.. the other is just the SATA lookin normal just like the IDE.. so i dunno.. also everything seems to be working fine, i am booting of my sata and everything is great.. like a 5 second boot time but i dont know if i configured everything correctly. i have this option in my windows taskbar the safely remove hardware option.. and my SATA drive is comming up under there i dont know if thats right or not. well anyhow my AIM name is H4L0x dats a zero by the way. please contact me and let me know if all that crap i did is required to make a sata drive bootable. thank you!
