well i'm trying to install xp pro on my new system, which has a baracuda sata drive. I went through the F6 menu during xp setup, to install the SATA drivers, but when it get's to the copying files screen it says it can't find the drivers. i still have the floppy in the drive. I have tried completly formatting the floppy and recreating the driver disc with no luck. please help

well, the files were copied off of the disc that came with my motherboard. folder was labeled driver disk. it works at the f6 screen, but after that it dosen't seem to recognize the floppy. i have just tried including the drivers on the disc also, which failed too

Dont put the drivers in a folder on the floppy. What exactly are the names of the files on the floppy?
