The sata power cables that came with my PSU has a connector to power 4 sata devices (One a single cable)

I only have one sata device and this dang cable is taking up so much room. I was wondering if I could cut the unnecessary sata power connectors off and then rewire the one on the end of the cable.

That should work shouldn't it?
 
Heh, you should see what I cut out of my current PSU :p...

As Traze said. It's just wiring!
