SATA Lock on ECS 945p-a?

I'm frustrated with my motherboard right now. I'm trying to overclock my CPU (P4 630 3.0GHz) a bit more, since it's perfectly stable at 3.6GHz (240MHz bus). However, when I try to go up to even 241MHz, the SATA isn't recognized at all. I've searched all over for a solution. I've tried using ports 3 and 4, with no change. I can't find anything in the BIOS about locking the PCI bus. The closest thing I see is "Auto Detect PCI Clk," but whether that's enabled or disabled, I still can't boot at 241. I tried updating the BIOS to a newer version to see if there were more options (there have been two updates since I got the board last year), but neither BIOS works properly. With either one, the computer won't boot with my USB keyboard and mouse connected.

I was able to load the BIOS from the ECS PF5, which DOES have an option to lock the PCIe frequency, but not the PCI frequency (locking the PCIe one has no effect). I was under the impression that the PCIe speed was just a multiplier of the PCI speed, so I'm not sure how it can only change one or the other, but oh well, it had no effect anyway.

Do I have any options or am I stuck at 240MHz? I've tried changing every setting in the BIOS. Nothing seems to have any effect. I'm surprised it's such a hard cutoff as well. I'd expect it to work some of the time at 240, but have problems, and maybe be able to boot part of the way at 241, but it's just perfect at 240, and nothing at all at 241. Weird.

Here is my setup, if that helps at all:

ECS 945p-a (1.1) (currently using PF5 1.2 BIOS v. 060126)
Pentium 4-E 630 3.0GHz
WD 80GB SATA drive
2x512MB DDR2 533 Dual Channel (tried them as single channel to see if it would have any effect...it didn't)
MSI Radeon X800

Anyone know about this board? I tested with SATA disconnected last night, and was able to run at 3825MHz from a Linux LiveCD, and boot half way at 3900MHz (I think I could make it stable if I changed some more settings). I just want to be able to go over 3600MHz while still having my hard drive connected :-\
