My friend has 4 hard drives all of them are seagate 300gbs 2 of them are 16mb cache the other 2 are 8mb cache. All of them are sata 2. The plan was to install the 2 16mb cache harddrives in a raid 0 array on 32 bit windows. I got that installed no problem. The next step was to use one of the remaining two harddrives and dual boot windows xp 64 bit not in raid array. When I go to install windows 64 bit it cant find any of the two remaining hard drives. Please help!

Motherboard: P5N32-SLI Deluxe
Processor: Pentium 950 dual core

does bios see those two other drives?

did you set those two other drives to raid accidentally in bios?

ok bios does see the two other drives and I have tried it both with the two other drives in raid and not in raid neither seem to work

For some reason the drivers that came on the motherboard cd werent working for 64 bit. I had to download updated ones from the Asus website. The 32 bit ones worked fine from the cd though.
