SATA Hot-swap?

The case im using (cooler master 960 ii advanced) has a SATA bay on-top of the case, and im looking to use the SATA hot-swap feature of my Mobo.

Im running a MSI P67A-G45, set to AHCI and the SATA connection on the top of the case has hot plug set to enabled. However, when I plug the drive in I do not see any options in Windows to safely remove the disk.

I know some nForce chipsets used to show SATA drives under "Safely Remove Hardware". Is there such functionality with this board? Ive never had a use for hot swapping SATA drives until now, what is the best practice?

I've had luck with different boards, by having a drive in the hotswap bay at boot.
 
I think there is something in the BIOS with those MSI boards you can change a setting to.
 
I'll take another look. To clarify should there be an option within windows to eject the drive?

There should be something like this in the bios, Hot Plug. Then you would see something in Windows.
