A few years ago there was a ATA hard drive switch out there that would let you choose between three different drives attached to your system when you booted, called the Romtec Trios. Since the choice was controlled by a hardware switch, all three drives were kept totally independent. Does anyone know of a SATA drive switch with similar features, now that it seems like Romtec isn't around anymore? The only thing I've found that is close is the $170 IDEX switch.

thanks,

when the removable rack, you can just hotswap them and turn on certain hard drives with a key.

Just use the removable racks the other members are suggesting they can be had for arround 20 dollars but if it will be the boot drive don't try hot swapping it would mess up your windows installation.

They were selling removable racks the other day for $9 each + ship. Just use the button/key to activate whichever drive you wanted active.
